AY 2017–2018 Honors Seminar Proposal Form
Thank you for your interest in submitting an Honors Seminar (HSEM) proposal. Please complete the proposal form below, including a tentative outline of your syllabus. You will receive acknowledgement of receipt via email. Questions about the submission process can be sent to Associate Director,
- Proposals received by the priority submission deadline, November 23, 2016, will be reviewed and submitted for final confirmation to the college/unit/department curriculum approver, where appropriate. Decisions will be communicated in early January. If your department requires a different timeline, please let us know. Separate communication regarding scheduling and book orders, which are arranged by UHP for all Honors Seminars, will be sent thereafter. Applications received after the priority deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis.
- Although courses previously taught as Freshman Seminars may be reimagined as Honors Seminars, they may not be offered in the same term.
- Due to the need to manage course enrollments, we can't guarantee that a seminar accepted for a particular semester can be switched to a different semester to accommodate a change in your schedule.
