College is a stressful time of life. In addition to all of the academic work, you may face new stresses socially, emotionally, spiritually – plus you have to figure out how to pay for it all. And when all is said and done – you’re expected to know what you want to do with your life?!?
This NEXUS provides a space for students to explore strategies for dealing with the challenges of college life, among them: handling stress, mental health, finding purpose, fighting perfectionism, and making big decisions. Every Wednesday morning, you have a chance to step back, learn with a small group of students, and reflect on your own journey. Through journaling, guest speakers, hands-on activities, discussion with your peers, and online modules on wellness developed by U-Thrive Educational Services, you’ll learn new strategies for wellness, explore the research behind these strategies, and have opportunities to apply them in your own life.
