Capstone Considerations

All B.A. students, including Honors students, must take two advanced CHEM laboratory courses, one of which can be replaced by completing a semester of CHEM directed studies.

All B.S. students, including Honors students, must take three advanced CHEM laboratory courses, one of which can be replaced by completing a semester of CHEM directed studies.

Thesis Requirements

Summa cum laude students must present orally to their faculty committee and whomever else the student would like to attend. The presentation is 30-40 min followed by questions from the public and then questions from the faculty committee after the public has been excused.
