Honors students don't take the non-Honors CPSY4347W capstone course; rather they are required to enroll in CPSY 3360H and CPSY 4994, completing an Honors thesis in lieu of CPSY 4347W.
Cum laude theses are typically 15-20 pages. Theses with magna cum laude and summa cum laude distinctions are typically 25-30 pages, with the additional pages reflecting a broader and deeper literature review, more extensive data analyses, and further consideration of limitations and future directions). Students graduating with a summa cum laude distinction are also required to make a public presentation of their thesis attended by at least one member of their thesis committee.
