CSCI 3901H, Taken in Spring of Sophomore year (preferred) or Spring of Junior year

Capstone Considerations

The BA capstone requirement is CSci 3081W, which involves a software project that is completed by all students in the class. Honors students doing the BA must take this class as their capstone. The Honors thesis itself will be a different project, involving much more extensive engagement with scholarship or research.

Thesis Requirements

A summa thesis in computer science should be defended in a public presentation either in a research group meeting, or at a university, regional or national conference.
