Capstone Considerations

Students who began at UMN fall 2020 or later must also take EE 4951W. Thesis projects are research-focused and performed individually under the close guidance of a regular faculty member, whereas students in 4951W complete group projects.

Thesis Requirements

To earn summa cum laude a student must average an A- or above across the two semesters of EE 4981H and EE 4982V.
