Capstone Considerations
Students must write an opening paragraph to the thesis (in consultation with their advisor) explaining how their work goes above-and-beyond a non-Honors capstone in the major, thus keeping the requirement flexible on a project-by-project basis.
Thesis Requirements
Students planning on graduating summa cum laude are required to pass an oral examination with their committee and do a public presentation of their research.
