Capstone Considerations

The honor thesis is completed by an individual student and is evaluated by a thesis committee consisting of three members. The non-honors senior capstone project is completed by a team of students. Honors students must complete both the capstone team project and an Honors thesis.

Thesis Requirements

The Department of Mechanical Engineering will assess your Honors thesis and use a rubric to determine if it rises to the level of summa cum laude.
