Thesis Requirements
A summa thesis for the Plant Science Major is distinguished from magna and cum laude theses by fulfilling at least one of the following options:
- 1) The student will present a public seminar in any of the weekly seminar series of Plant Science departments (Horticultural Science, Agronomy and Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology or Entomology).
- 2) An oral examination will be conducted by the student's committee.
