Capstone Considerations
Students taking PDES 4701W find a problem and design a product-based solution. This course is writing intensive and students write a report documenting their process. The Honors Thesis will be more a research study/conference paper in addition to their process documentation, and may be related to the capstone project or may be independent.
Thesis Requirements
Students pursuing summa cum laude will be expected to submit and present their work at a conference or the UMN CDES research poster showcase.
