Students complete their thesis through an honors offering of the capstone course (Writ 4999). An honors thesis will differ from non-honors senior capstone project in the major by requiring a paper of greater length and sophistication and, depending on level of honors, a defense and public presentation of the paper.
Students completing Latin Honors at the summa cum laude level will do a defense and public presentation of the thesis.
