Major Requirements for Students Pursuing Latin Honors
PSY 3001V (students must request permission from department to take as PSY majors are prioritized)
STAT 3021H - Introduction to Probability & Statistics (Spring)
HCOL 3101H and HCOL 3102H
All students must take URBS 3955W as a capstone course. Honors students also will complete an Honors thesis on a topic consistent with the major and that fulfills the expectations outlined by the University Honors Program.
Summa theses require a public presentation of the research (in the supervisor's department, at a conference, etc.). Summa designation will be reserved for theses that represent a degree of sophistication and originality found in peer-reviewed scholarly work, with a length or word count appropriate to the subfield in which the student is working, as determined by the student's Honors Thesis Committee.
