Fund for Education Abroad Scholarships
Supports undergraduate students planning to participate in rigorous education abroad programs. FEA will award $5,000 scholarships to students who study abroad for one semester and up to $10,000 for two semesters of study abroad; students who study abroad for other lengths of time (minimum of four weeks) will receive a proportionate amount. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be committed to supporting education abroad in their campus community through work with the FEA and their campus education abroad staff upon return. This scholarship is either coordinated by another campus unit or does not require UMN involvement in the application process. The Office for National and International Scholarships may provide guidance on applications as time and resources allow./span>
