Rangel International Affairs Program Graduate Fellowships

The program aims to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers in the Foreign Service. Members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need are encouraged to apply. Supports two years of graduate study in an approved two-year masters degree program as preparation for a career in the Foreign Service. Applicants must be U.S. citizens; have a minimum GPA of 3.2; and SENIORS or recent GRADUATES with outstanding academic achievement, leadership skills, and financial need. Must be seeking admission to an appropriate graduate program. 30 awards per year of up to $47,500.

This scholarship does not require a nomination from the University of Minnesota. The Office for National and International Scholarships consults with interested students on assembling competitive applications, helps them prepare for interviews or other stages of the selection process as necessary, and publicizes results.
