Major Requirements for Students Pursuing Latin Honors
Many honors students choose to fulfill honors course requirements through their liberal education requirements or taking graduate level courses

Honors students must complete either JWST 4000W or JWST 4001W. Honors theses are expected to demonstrate a greater awareness of methodology and its implications than is expected of capstone projects, engage with a broader range of the field as evidenced by a greater diversity in the secondary literature (and potentially primary texts) relied upon in support of the research, and an explicitly stated relationship between the student's own work and the current state of the field.
Students completing a summa level thesis must do a public presentation (venue is flexible) of their thesis work
