Humanity in Action Fellowship

This summer fellowship program brings together international groups of university students and recent graduates to explore national histories of discrimination and resistance, as well as issues affecting different minority groups today. Curriculum focuses on issues of diversity in European societies. Programs are held in various European cities. The fellowship covers the costs of participation and accommodations, and provides a small stipend for meals; participants pay for airfare and other expenses. There is a service requirement. Applicants from the U.S must be SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, SENIORS, or recent GRADUATES of US universities; citizenship is open.

This scholarship does not require a nomination from the University of Minnesota. The Office for National and International Scholarships consults with interested students on assembling competitive applications, helps them prepare for interviews or other stages of the selection process as necessary, and publicizes results.
