These awards recognize students with records of leadership and community involvement who plan to have careers of public service with $30,000 scholarships to support their graduate studies in fields such as law, educations, public policy, public health and social work.

This year two of those nominees, Joleece Pecore, an Art and American Indian Studies major from Wisconsin, and Carter Yost, a Communications, History and Political Science major from Nebraska, have been selected as finalists.  Both will interview in coming weeks for selection as scholars.
